The Persian Love Cake
Perhaps the most romantic cake we have. The Persian love cake is what spring feels like in a cake. This enchanting bundt shaped blessing is adorned with a beautiful white glaze with a tinge of lemon, ground pistachios, red rose petals, and sprinkled with fine powdered sugar. We utilise finely milled almond flour, powdered pistachios, ground cardamom, organic unbleached flour, and British rose aqua. Thinly sliced almonds form a circle atop the bundt, truly making it a flavour-packed cake. The lovely aroma of lemons and fresh oranges shines through this cake. These combinations give the Persian love cake an airy, soft and grainy texture; A perfect compliment for tea, coffee, breakfast, lunch, dinner..... even a midnight snack. Shelf life: The almond flour releases a smooth oil that allows the Love cake to keep for long (4-5 days). Three days at room temperature and five when refrigerated.
