Biscoff Tres Leches Cake
In 1932, A Belgian baker named Jan Boone crafted a perfect caramelised cookie: The iconic Lotus Biscoff. Every year over 6 billion cookies are baked and distributed around the globe. These biscuits are scarcely found in Bangkok, making it one of our most special products yet. These pricey treats are thin, crunchy, and taste like cinnamon. We have taken this delightful cookie and transformed it into a perfectly splendid Tres Leches cake. Each slice is topped with fresh chantilly cream and crushed biscuits. We have also incorporated diced toasted pecans, which is sure to give you a satisfying crunch. We cannot recommend this cake enough. Adequately sweet. Incredibly soft. Oh. So. Decadent.
Tres leches cakes are exclusively sold by four or eight slices (small and large). These cakes are best consumed within 3 days and can be kept for 5 days in the refrigerator.
The Saffron Café exclusively utilises organic, free range eggs. Our flours are organic, unbleached and wholesome. All cakes are freshly made by hand to minimise wastage. The Saffron Café does not deliver outside metropolitan Bangkok.
